In the summer of 2020, fueled by the success and community support of her initial produce stand, Moholt envisioned a more permanent solution to meet the growing demand for fresh produce in Morgantown. "We recognized a real need for a reliable source of fresh, tasty products right here in our community," she reflected. This vision came to fruition when Mal's Fresh Produce opened its doors on May 18, 2021, quickly becoming a local staple.

Mal's Fresh Produce is dedicated to sourcing the freshest fruits and vegetables from local family farms, ensuring that every item sold is of the highest quality. The store is restocked daily and offers an extensive selection of produce, along with grass-fed meats and a variety of house-canned goods. Additionally, the store features an expansive garden center that includes beautiful trees, shrubs, fruit bushes, and a vibrant assortment of flowers and vegetable plants.
