What do we do?
As a member-owned cooperative, we bring together products from multiple small farmers and producers across West Virginia onto a single platform. This allows you to conveniently purchase from various sources in one place, simplifying your ordering, billing, and receiving process. We strive to make it easier for you, our valued clients, to support Appalachian agriculture.
How does our cooperative work?
We are proud to be a member-owned cooperative, not a middleman operation. Our co-op is democratically run, meaning each member has an equal vote in shaping how we grow and operate. Our cooperative also runs on a net-zero basis. This means at the end of the year, once operating costs and reserves are covered, any remaining profits are distributed back to our member-owners, based on their level of participation and use.
What do we offer to Members?
As a member of our cooperative, you'll receive comprehensive marketing support, including product promotion, sales, distribution, and merchandising. We also offer valuable educational resources to help you succeed, such as guidance on navigating regulations, assistance with hop farming, and more. Additionally, our co-op provides access to a wide range of shared equipment, ensuring you have the tools you need to thrive.
