Smoke Camp Crafts traces its roots to Dot, who founded the business after moving to West Virginia in 1975 and developing a passion for traditional herbs and handcrafted products. Working from a historic 1800s cabin that still serves as the company's symbol, she built a business known for its herbal products and time-honored craftsmanship.

Drawing on years of study and hands-on experience, Dot created a wide variety of herbal products and later shared her knowledge through her book, Modern Uses of Traditional Herbs. Her dedication to quality and traditional herbal practices established the foundation of Smoke Camp Crafts.

Today, owner Kara Vaneck continues Dot's legacy, producing handcrafted herbal products while expanding the business to serve new customers.
